Jeffrey R. Boyd
Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, February 15, 1975, Jeff was raised in Boyertown. He has an undergraduate degree from West Chester University, magna cum laude, and received his J.D. degree from Villanova University in 2002. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October, 2002. Jeff served on the board of directors for the Boyertown Area YMCA, and is a member of Building a Better Boyertown, Berks-Mont Business Association and Boyertown AMBUCS. Jeff has represented a variety of clients since coming to Boyd & Karver in 2002. He maintains a general practice of law with concentrations in family law, real estate and business law, landlord/tenant, wills and estates administration.
Craig S. Boyd
Born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, January 3, 1948. Craig has an undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University, received his J.D. degree from Notre Dame University in 1974 and obtained his LLM in Taxation from Villanova Law School in 1987. He began practicing law in Boyertown in 1974 with E. Kenneth Nyce. Craig started his own law firm at the present location in May of 1977 and Boyd & Karver has been a staple in the Borough of Boyertown ever since. Craig retired from active practice in 2006 after 32 years of faithful service to the residents of Boyertown and surrounding areas. Craig remains “of counsel” to the firm, but is not taking new clients. Although Craig is no longer involved in the active practice of law, the office of Boyd & Karver continues the tradition of professional and personal representation of all its clients.
Jeffrey C. Karver
Jeffrey Karver was born on February, 23, 1950, and was raised in Boyertown. He has an undergraduate degree from Susquehanna University, a graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received his J.D. degree cum laude from Campbell University in 1980. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in December, 1980. Jeff was a former teacher and coach in Warminster, Bucks County, and served as a member of the Boyertown Area School Board for eight years, serving two terms as President. He previously served as a member of Church Council of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boyertown, and presently is a volunteer for Building a Better Boyertown, a “Main Street” project committee designed to help revitalize the Borough. Jeff served as solicitor for Colebrookdale Township and the Borough of Bally and as solicitor for the Berks-Montgomery Sewer Authority. Although Jeff is no longer involved in the active practice of law, the office of Boyd & Karver continues the tradition of professional and personal representation of all its clients.
